Gem codes are the highest priority for most accounts because Upgrade Zone progress is gated by currency discipline. Read Gems and Currency and Base Upgrades before you dump RELEASE1 into random rolls. Damage and Range max at 20; Attack Speed, Diamond Drop, Wins, Luck, and Unit Slots max at 25. Spending every gem on rolls while Damage sits at rank 8 is a common early mistake.

Fruits apply Mutations. Void, Venom, Shadow, and Reversion each change how a plant contributes in later waves. Do not apply fruit codes the second you redeem them. Park the fruits, finish your merge core, then choose targets with help from Fruits and Mutations and the Mutations Tier List. If you need spending order among fruit types, use Fruits Priority.

Flame, Frozen, and Shadow Grenades are secret-tier AoE tools. They are strong when wave density spikes, but they are also easy to waste if you throw them before secret plants or merge spikes are online. Study How to Use Grenades and the Grenades item page before burning the pack on early tutorial waves.
Redeem checklist
- Open Mutant Plants Base Defense on Roblox.
- Enter the Shop.
- Open the Codes panel.
- Paste one code exactly as written.
- Press Verify and wait for confirmation.
- Check inventory for gems, fruits, or grenades before redeeming the next code.
If Verify fails, retype instead of pasting from a messy chat log. Extra spaces, wrong casing, and outdated screenshots are the usual culprits. Codes do not need to be entered with spaces or punctuation around them.
How to spend rewards without sabotaging progress
Gems
Use gem codes to fix structural weaknesses first:
- Raise Damage and Range if enemies are leaking past your front line.
- Raise Attack Speed if DPS feels soft after merges.
- Raise Luck when your roll quality is consistently poor.
- Raise Unit Slots only when your board is actually full of keepers.

Fruits
Apply fruits to plants you intend to keep through multiple merge tiers. Mutating a unit you will immediately merge away wastes the fruit. Reversion fruits are especially valuable when a mutation choice went wrong or when you need to reset a failed experiment without discarding the whole unit plan.
Grenades

Codes after UPD-0.5
UPD-0.5 is the patch context for the current season of play. When Rainbow Isle Base ships another update, expect new UPD*, BUGFIX*, or RELEASE* style strings. Check UPD-0.5 and Patch Notes for feature changes, then re-test this list. A patch can invalidate old codes overnight even if the reward text still circulates in Discord chats.
